We're a mum and daughter duo from Nottingham in the UK, the heart of the East Midlands, the birthplace of Lord Byron and D H Lawrence... by association, you might think we'd know something about literature?! Well, we do...Sort of! 

A bit about Me (the Mum)

After becoming a mum in 2014 to my daughter Sophia, together we haven't read a lot of Byron or Lawrence (!) but over the years, we have read a lot of children’s books, and I mean A LOT! When Sophia was younger (from 0 to 8 years old) we could easily read up to 10+ books a night together (that's 3,650 books a year!) ...No wonder I'm tired! ...As you can imagine, we have our favourite books (and our not so favourite!) I'm so happy to report that there are some very good Children's books out there, and we only want to share the good ones with you. This is where We Love That Book! was born...so without further ado, welcome to the world of good children's books; books that don’t put children off (books that don’t put adults off, because that's important too!) 

To make it easy, We Love That Book! We’ve condensed our collective favourite books into age groups from newborn babies (0 yrs) to older readers (11 years +) and beyond. The best part? You can enjoy reading alongside your children, with no boring books in sight…!  Some are good to read aloud, others can be read alone once your children is old enough. I have also started reading again so feel free to look at what I've been reading of late in the 'grown-up' collection.
